The "Bôa Album Art" is my take on redesigning an album cover, prompted by my Typography class. I picked Bôa because they're not only my favorite band, but I felt like I could give their album art a fresh new look. For this project, I decided to feature my concept art based on a character named Lain from "Serial Experiments Lain," an anime about a girl deeply connected to the digital world. I chose Lain because the anime's theme song is "Duvet" by Bôa, one of their top tracks and featured on the album. The "homemade" aspect pays homage to the fact that I had to create my own CD since this particular album is pretty hard to come by in this format. Hence, the tape, crumpled paper, labels from a label maker, and doodles!
