  My name is Katie Chrisman, and I'm based in Columbia, MO. I'm currently a freelance Graphic Designer with my Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Art. My journey into Graphic Design started in high school, but it was in 2020 that I realized it was my true passion. Back then, I was pursuing theater in college and brought along an iPad. I began sketching stickers for fun, and it took off! I sold over 400 stickers, and that's when I knew this was the path I wanted to pursue.

  Using design to connect with people means a lot to me because it's a way to communicate through a different vessel than just myself. Seeing people from various backgrounds forming a connection with what I create is what drew me to Graphic Design. Every day, I'm pushing myself to improve, learning from my own experiences and those of others.

 

  When I'm not designing, you'll likely find me reading, slinging coffee or hiking along my favorite trail with my dog Maple.
